My name is Santiago Vidal, I'm a Pianist/Composer/Songwriter from Uruguay. I graduated from CAEMSA (ex Berklee), Argentina in 2010 as a Contemporary Pianist and from Berklee College of Music, Boston, USA as a Film Composer in 2014. I have won some international composition awards: one in London, England in 2013 for my piano trio "Cronica de una decepción" (at the Herne Hill Music Festival). I also won the first prize on the largest composition contest in my country, organized by the Ministry of Culture (Premios Nacionales de Musica) with my song "Nostalgias" (Latin music) in 2013. I won the 3rd prize on the same contest in 2018 and I was finalist on the USA Songwriting Competition the same year (receiving and Honorable Mention) for my song "Tu Querer". 
I have been playing with many different artist for the last 17 years in Europe, South America and North America.  I have been teaching all ages for the last 17 years. I taught at the School of Rock (Woodland Hills), The Academy of Music for The Blind (Los Angeles) and at California College of Music, Pasadena.
