Gretell is a Cuban-born singer, pianist, composer, and music educator based in Miami. 

She graduated from Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Classical Piano in Havana and from the University of Havana in Sociocultural Studies. She has performed worldwide in Tokyo, Mexico City, Muscat, and New York. In 2016, she began an acting career. She won the HOLA Award for Best Visitant Leading Actress in NYC. “Marina” is her latest musical work, a live studio album. In 2020 she presented "Transmission”, a solo performance, at Living Away Fest. She currently collaborates with artists interested in cross-disciplinary live art projects.
